Newest Finds. . .

As promised, I finally took photos of some of my recent finds! This is the ledger, notebooks and mother-of-pearl buttons from the general store auction I went to over Easter (coming to a Project Kit very soon). . .

These are some items I picked up out in Franklin last week for our new booth at CHA (as well as not 1, but 2 kitchen islands from Scarlett - more about that later. . .)

And here is the AMAZING find I mentioned in the last post that I found in New England last weekend. . .
Can you believe it? It was handmade in 1908 (as carved on the inside). It took my breath away when I saw it. I couldn't imagine anyone with that name in 1908 (weren't all Jennifer's born in the 70's)?? Yes it has an "e" on the end but I think I can live with that! Now where to put it. . .

I also picked up another ironstone pitcher while there (so much more plentiful there than in the south). The smell of these Lily's are filling the house right now.

And. . . I got a new toy. Jared ordered us the 40D as well as a new portrait lens (a Canon EF 85mm)- thank goodness for business write-offs! I really needed this for the website photography (and to take this. . .)

He is 10 next month (sigh) and wearing Abercrombie cologne everyday. I'm losing my grip and it is paining me so. He is me made over body and soul (Christian belongs to his Dad).

I hope your week starts out great! Spring is finally here to stay here (or so we hope)!

You will always be his mother, though. As long as you let him know consistently that you love him(as I know you do), he will remember in his own way. Hard pressed to replace a mom (even though at times they may want to - haha).

Middle School in the fall. :GASP: I just "regoranized" my studio and I have a small arsenal of your products I'm proud to say!!! Felt the need to share. And love your treasures. MUCH!!

I would have had a heart attack if I drove by that auction and didn't have any money...it's a good thing I live where I do I guess...no hope of anything that awesome anytime soon:P

I loved "wearing Ambercrombie cologne" at 10...hysterical!!!

They grow up so fast. Remember to enjoy each day. I am dying to see a sneak peek of the May kit. Any chance of that coming up soon?

Jenni, I couldn't help but chuckle with your remark of 'weren't all Jenni's born in the 70's?' Jennifer Rebecca was on my list of girls' names because it was on a tv ad; Jenny Rebecca. Well, my daughter arrived in 1971 and we named her Carrie; old fashioned spelling. SO good seeing you and Jared at CHA and GREAT to read that all is going well. YOU ARE THE BEST. Carol in Phoenix.
