I have spent the past 2 1/2 weeks visiting two amazing countries (Australia and New Zealand), with the most amazing people, amazing hosts, having an amazing time! Once I recover from my jet lag and get my photos downloaded I will be sharing my experiences in both countries here. Being gone for that long means that there is always a large workload to come home too!
So in the meantime, here's a photo of some of the little English pots in my collection, one of my most prized collections of all. The crazing, the typography, the deep blue/black - there is so much to love! If you are looking for them, they are very hard to find. I purchased all of mine from Scarlett Scales here in Nashville (Franklin) for between $35 - $50 each (I collected slowly!) I rarely see them at fairs/stores and when I have they have had $100 price tags. I suppose if you took a trip to England and found some former privies to dig in, you may spend less money. I've thought of that idea more than once - someday I suppose!
Betsy has been working on a lovely, new, clean and tidy blog page for me. I hope to get that up by the end of the week!
