I'm going to give this a try . . .

I keep avoiding a blog schedule because I get overwhelmed with the thought of maintaining and committing to something every day, week to week.  Instead I end up not posting at all.  So, I've decided to take a baby step, and commit to "The Things I Keep Monday" - a day each week where I can share with you something that I have chosen to keep from the all of the items I buy to sell.  These are the items that call out to me a little stronger than everything else, and therefore find their way up to my studio for an extended stay.

So here we go with week 1!

This is a wonderful framed 3-dimensional paper cutting that I bought from my friend Kathe at the Country Living Fair in New York this past June.  I am always drawn to anything handmade AND always impressed when something like this survives decades.  It will fill a blank wall nicely in my studio (once I can manage to sift through the garage and find a nail).

Happy Monday!

Committing to a blog and posting work is difficult. I have been trying to do this for 2 years. Once a week is great, I'll look for your once a week post. I'll try once a month, starting next month :)

Blogging is a big commitment, good for you for taking a baby step and I LOVE the topic. Can't wait to see the things you keep. If I was in your position I'd have a hard time not keeping it all.
