Country Living Preparations. . .

I have been working my little fingers to the bone pricing, washing, polishing and organizing all of our goodies for the Fair next weekend!  All year long I stuff items away into their themed boxes where they sit in hiding until I pull them our for pricing and packaging.  It is always so much fun to lay everything out on my table as I inevitably had forgotten what I have.  Sometimes I am amazed by the treasures that have been unearthed throughout the course of the year!  This year for the Ohio Fair I will again have a large Halloween display, vintage toys such as tin globes and typewriters, farming themes that will include my favorite stand-up farm animals (I unearthed another full box this year), vintage industrial such as old fans, clocks, and cameras and tons of old general store and hardware store storage and signs.  Oh . . . and of course glassware and ironstone and hundreds of tiny "bits and baubles" that we have become known for.

So without further adieu, here are a few pictures (in the "rough"!) of my chaos as we try to get it all ready.  Enjoy!

(Waiting for their position in my old black metal cabinet). . .
