Soldering. . .

is something I always wanted to play with (I think I even have a soldering gun somewhere!) but have never found the time to try.  My friend Shari is a master.  If you have ever had the opportunity to visit her booth at the Country Living Fairs you know what I mean.  And it isn't just the metal working she does - it's the sweet stuffed dolls, the paper-casted frozen Charlotte's, dyed and glittered trees (I will have these at my booth at Christmas Village!).  She does it all, and beautifully.  You can check out her blog here, but I thought I would share some photos of her upcoming workshop with you here.  If soldering isn't your thing, she has many others to choose from.

I have made some of the most talented friends over the year and I want to be better about sharing them with you here (maybe a bit of an early New Year Resolution)!

Explore creating these adorable little
houses with vintage broken china fragments.
and then adding some " spice" to it, by adding
photo bezels, pearling, beading, words, and textures!

We will also be creating these gorgeous soldered flowers!

The fun begins on November 8th!

Very nice craft work.
I guess only skilled soldering operator can make such beautiful and creative gadgets like this.
