to have such beautiful chickens who lay such beautiful eggs! No need to dye them, I love them just as they are (and they naturally match my house so beautifully).
Did you know that my rub-ons don't just work on paper?? I have used them on plates, on wood, and most recently as you can see here. . . on my lovely eggs.
I used the Silver Feather Rub-Ons, cutting an individual feather out and adhering it to the egg (I just used my fingernail but you can use the back of scissors, a spoon, or yes, a fancy rub-on tool)! Because of the curves to the egg, it does leave some "wrinkles", but once I got the rub-on down, I put my backing back over it and used my fingernail again to smooth it out, getting out most of the air.
And just like that - I'm ready for Easter! I plan to add little name tag pennants into each egg cup, adding them to my dinner place settings. I can already taste the deviled eggs, can't you??

Oh my word - totally genius! These are so classy, Jenni.
So cute...love the color of the eggs too. We just moved to a house with some land and we hope to have some chickens soon. I hope they make some beautiful eggs like yours.
