For those that have been praying for the Osman's and our church family throughout this week - I wanted to say thank you once again. I have read all of your comments and will share them with Nancy when the time is right. I wanted you to be able to put a face with the name.
We celebrated his life on Friday - and what a life he had in his short 18 years. His memorial was attended by almost 2000 people and viewed by thousands more via satellite from our church here in Nashville, in TX and in AK at Harding University. While Nancy, Big Ty, Adair and Kendal's hearts will never fully heal, the good that has only begun to come from the example of the life Ty lead will surely be a comfort and a reminder that his walk was not in vain.
Go rest high on that mountain sweet Ty - your work here is done. We will miss you so.

Jenni--Thank you for positing what you have. We knew Ty and Nancy only just a little, but we have been praying here in GA since word of the accident reached us. I will continue to pray for the family during this unbelievably devastating time.
I'm so very very sorry to Nancy and her family and for you and the rest of the JBS family there in TN. Thank your for sharing his photos. I've been thinking a lot about them. They are still in my prayers.

Oh, Jenni! These are fabulous photos of Ty--they capture his character! I am so sad for this family (and all his friends/etc.). Praying for his family!
oh what a beautiful boy ...
Hugs, Jenni!
Thank you!
Oh Jenni, I've been thinking about him often. Thanks for posting this.
Nancy,
From one mother who has suffered the loss of a son to another...we'll meet him in the high places some day! Until then, hold strong onto your faith...it will keep you through the pain and empty places. Praying daily for you and family and May God hold you tightly. Look for a church grief group led by a reputable psychologist to join later as that helped me--knowing you are not the only one with loss can be comforting as well as provide support from those that understand. Focus on the Family has many resources also. Reading books helped my husband and I. I'm so sorry. From the pictures, one can see what an amazing boy you raised!
Jenni, just wanted to add how far Ty reached, my daughter attends WKU in Bowling Green and came home the day after Ty's accident, I decided it was a teachable moment and told her how I follow your blog and the story of the accident and she said Mom is his name Ty because we were all praying for him at WKU.
Since I can only sign as anonymous I want you to know that I am Debbie from Truckee, Calif and I have posted before. I am praying for Ty's family and hope somehow that these messages will help with their loss of that beautiful young man. God has him in the palm of His hand and you should be comforted in knowing that. Your pain must be unbearable, but know that God will give you strength to carry on. Ty's memories will keep you going when you think you cannot go another step....your friends, family and people you do not even know will uplift you. God bless you all.
....God will give you strenth...ask for his help.
What a handsome young man. I know they must have been so proud of him and his life. My heart aches for them. Continued prayers for comfort and healing.
Louise
