New May Kits!!
A new Papercrafting Kit that has me thinking of summer. . .
A sweet Project Kit created by Doris. . .

And a super cool Add-On filled with great vintage accessories and perfectly coordinated products. . .
All on sale at 12:00 midnight tonight central!
We are still digging out of boxes. I think I just might be for months. I have some plans for my blog when things get back to normal. So much I want to share on a regular basis. I actually had some photos planned for this down time but. . .my external drive fell in the move and is frozen. I cried in the closet for an hour. Of course all of my photos, personal and site, were on it as that was supposed to be "the safe place". We mailed it off to a recovery place yesterday and I am holding out hope that they can get the data off of it. It would be so devastating but there are worse things that could happen - there always are.
Have a great weekend - I will share photos of the house soon, promise!

Some mid-month releases. . .

Just for blog readers! You get the inside scoop always, on things that never make it to our newsletter!!
Now available, a Playtime Vintage Crafting Kit, full of bright vintage goodness, just in time to celebrate the newest Jenni Bowlin Studio release for May called "Play Date"!! Sneak Peeks of that next week. . .
A Mother's Day Vintage Crafting Kit, perfect for a special project for that special mom. . .
And. . .I decided to put a few of the Mother's Day Box Book Kits for sale that will be taught at Vintagefest next week (although the cover is changed a bit - Vintagefest attendees will have a choice of covers). . .

And finally, I have re-stocked the Vintage Glove Molds. I was able to get a few more but my supplier has told me this is it from the factory. They make great jewelry holders or maybe just a fun inspirational display.

I'm trying to keep my head above water over here! It's one thing to move a home, but to move a business and a home at the same time, well. . . that's just plain crazy (but were about to do it)!

And remember, tomorrow is the last day to sign up for the full weekend Vintagefest event. Only one week away!!!
Happy Thursday!

A quick moving sale!

I'm panicking all of a sudden that our move-in date is coming soon (about 3 more weeks)! So. . .if you are local, I am having a yard sale this Friday and Saturday. Just shoot a note to jennibowlin@gmail.com if you want directions. We will have some of the discount scrapbook stuff that we have had in the past.

And speaking of moving, the plumbing is all done! Here is a quick photo of one of my favorite things - a vintage dresser we had converted into a sink for the guest bedroom. Don't you love it?? And even with labor it was as cheap if not cheaper than something you would get at Home Depot/Lowes. Gotta love that!!

The good, the bad and the ugly. . .

Well I'm back from Round Top, TX having had a ton of fun, not enough time, and many lessons learned! I knew I was only going to have 2 1/2 days (keeping in mind that the various shows go on from the end of March through mid-April) so I planned my trip around the Marburger Farms opening. It seems that is the one show that fit my style to a T. Although I wasn't disappointed, it was not a "resale" show. I purchased a few things for me (and cried over larger things I would have loved for the house) but I couldn't do much buying otherwise. Although the booth displays were amazing and I saw things I will never see again, I am truly a "digger" at heart. I like the rush of finding a diamond in the rough and getting a great deal - whether I'm keeping it or putting it in my booth. Marburger was not the place for that.

The next day I was headed to Warrenton, which we passed on the way in. It looked like my kind of place for sure. But. . . I got impatient and got sucked into various other shows along the way - none of which offered much of what I was looking for (or more specifically, what I could afford)!

Finally on Thursday, my last day, I made it to Warrenton. Wow is all I can say! If you are a flea-marketer at heart this is where you want to be. Acres and Acres of junk - as far as the eye can see. I made a lot of great purchases and only made it through about 2 full isles (and I believe there were at least 100). Photos of some of my finds soon, but for now, here are some photos taken at Marburger . . .

This is the bed and breakfast we stayed at called Lillian Farms . . .

And here I am at a state park in Austin our first day. A bit of a "peace" offering to Jared. . .

And the famous bridge in Austin - everyone waiting for the half-a-million bats to fly out at dusk. . .

What a wonderful trip!! Anyone else go?? If so, what was your favorite find??
