Birthday Weekend. . .
My baby boy turned 9 on Saturday. All he has wanted to do since he hit this world was get bigger (thanks much to having an older brother).
He asked to go to Red Robin for dinner and wanted me to make a vanilla cake with chocolate icing.
I know you're feeling better about yourself tonight (after seeing this cake -ha)! Just call me Martha. . .

Only the best of birthday wishes!
Aw, I hope he had a happy birthday! My daughter's b-day is in a few days. I can't believe how quickly they grow. Did I just say that? :) I remember rolling my eyes as a kid when the grown-ups would say that, and now, it's just so, so true.
happy happy birthday, sweet boy!
red robin is the bday restauraunt of choice for my chickies, too!!!
Happy Birthday to your son!!
Happy Birthday, love the cake!
Looks like a happy day!
Love that cake. That is what I make for Amanda every year. It is her choice. I wish everyone else was that easy.
aww, such a sweet pic! My baby will be 2 in about 6 weeks, can u believe that!? I'm tearing up just typing it! lol btw, Red Robin rocks. Hope you guys are doing good!--Brittany Gullett
I think more and more folks are using "white" as their base and doing more nature inspired decor for holidays anyway...it does make it sooo much easier...glad to see great new stuff @ jbs, love the month bingo cards, espec since July is brown-my go to color!
Happy Birthday - my middle son was 4 yesterday!
That's a lovely cake. Give your sweet boy an extra hug for me today. I lost one of my sons at age 10. Hold on to them tight. My youngest is 18 and i tried to make a halloween cake with alternating layers of choco and orange colored yellow cake with coconut frosting. It turned out to be over a foot high after it was done, lol. We try. It's the love that goes into those cakes that is what counts. Right boys. Hope it was a good day! LS
