127 Sale
Although I have been back for4 days now I think it took me that long to recover from heat exhaustion after shopping in 100 degree plus indexes for 4 days! That didn't keep me however, (or thousands of my new best friends) from beating the path down US Route 127 last week on the hunt for hidden treasures. I started last Wednesday in Russell Springs, KY and almost made it to Pikeville, TN by Saturday. I was driving an hour and half to and from each day typically. I kept packing a bag thinking I would grab a hotel room but I was always out of room in my car and yearning for my own bed by the end of the day. We are setting up at the Country Living Fair in Atlanta (more on that in a future blog post) in October so I meant serious business! Here are a few photos I managed to take (not as much as I wanted). . .
(I really wanted this cabinet, but alas, no room in the Honda Pilot - should have brought the truck)!
(this photo is for the American Pickers, just in case they are watching (Frank, are you there??)
As soon as I get unpacked I will take some photos of some of my finds. I got lots of stuff for future kits and for the Vintage Finds section of the website.
Check back here Saturday for some previews of the mid-month release at the site on Sunday including kits from 4 of my retired classes from this year (and some restocks).
Happy Thursday!!

What cool pics! And love 'American Pickers'!
Hi Jenni! I did the 127 sale last Saturday morning from Mentone, AL south towards Gadsden, AL. It WAS HOT! Found just a few things before the sky let loose with a rainstorm and ended everything. Maybe better luck next year! Will be watching for photos of your finds...
Love the pics and wanting to head to Atlanta for the show also.
Love those guys "Mike and Frank"
Looks like there were some good opportunities for finding treasures. Glad you had a good time.
