Did I say digital???

Yep, you heard me right! This Sunday, the 22nd of February, will be our first step into the digital marketplace. I will launch two kits over at wearestorytellers.com that include images from our retired Spring Picnic line (along with a few other exclusive goodies). I guess the next step is for me to actually figure out how to use them myself! Ha! Hubby ordered a new computer today so maybe that is my opportunity to get started. I don't know where we will go from here, as far as digital goes, but I'm excited to get my feet wet. Thanks for all of the posts and e-mail inquires requesting we put our hat in that arena.

Hoping for some sunlight tomorrow so I can snap some good photos of my studio. We had strange hail today and it looks like bad storms tomorrow. As soon as I see the sun again, I will get them taken!

In the meantime, guess what this little kid said at dinner tonight?

"I'm never going to get married" . . . (to which I secretly gave a sly smile). Followed by - "I'm just going to get a dog".

And just a little reminder to everyone that I don't by any stretch of the imagination have everything together in my life. . . "dinner" was heated up fish sticks and french fries for the boys, takeout from Longhorn for me, and leftover soup for Jared. That is pretty much the standard deal around here (and. . . the laundry is piled up in the hallway). Hope you are feeling much better about yourself now!!!

Have a great evening!

I love it when my little man says the same thing!

BTW, our laundry can sit in the hall together because I got it sorted today but that was it! I got lost somewhere in my studio for 2 1/2 hrs this morning. I mean really, what is more important, right?

That quote from your son is PRICELESS!! Just remind him of that 15 years down the road when he is pondering proposing! ;-)

What a sweet little boy! I'd secretley smile as well! Congrats on your step into digi land. I wanted to put a shout out regarding your handmade jewlrey. I so miss your unique pieces that you'd offer from time to time. Hoping you will offer more in the future as they are some of my favorite pieces and I get complements every single time I wear them. I don't know how you even attempt to do what you do. Your husband is a keeper though! My son said the same thing at about that age...we are flying to Cancun next Wednesday for his wedding and between them they have 3 dogs. Your sly smile is right on target! Always enjoy your blog and kits. Don't scrapbook so I don't understand the digital thing....

My 14 year old daughter tells me that all the time I think (i hope) it is just a phase. That picture is awesome. It is great you are venturing out into the digital world....I have not made it there...Yet. My true love is paper piecing and finding cool unique embellishments....That's why I love me some Jenni Goodies. Isn't it funny how we all think everyone else has it together but us. Thanks for the menu and laundry reality!!!

Can't wait to see the new digital software. Regarding meals and laundry...I recently did a laundry room post. It looked clean and perfect. I let everyone know that all the dirty clothes were in the hallway so the pictures could be taken:-)

I am so glad you are getting into digital. Right now I only use it for some overlays, words etc simple additions to my photos.....I am excited to see what you offer --any peaks???????

How funny. One of my students said the only reason people get married is so they have someone to take care of them when they're sick. Since he doesn't want to get married and his parents "will probably be dead" by the time he is old enough to get married, he'll live with his brother forever. Gotta love what comes out of their mouths.

Too funny Jenni! Sometimes I think maybe I should have gotten a dog :).

I can't wait to see the digital stuff. I'm just starting to explore digital as a supplement to paper. Won't ever give it up, but I can digi anywhere, not just on certain days/times when I'm home and have time. That makes it attractive. Glad you're jumping in.
