Okay, Okay - you have been more than patient!!

So sorry for the delay in this post - I was scrambling last week to change Christian's preschool. Both of my boys went to a local 2 day-a-week preschool since they were almost two. Since I held Noah back from starting Kindergarten until he was actually 6, 2 days a week was fine for him. Christian on the other hand, I decided (last minute) was really going to need at least a 3 day, all day program to help him transition into Kindergarten next year. He is just a totally different ball game (in more ways then one). So, after calling, driving, touring (and writing checks!) last week, I finally got him in a great school (Friendship Christian if you are local) and he started today. Only bad thing is it is an hour round trip to get him there and pick him up each day. He is worth it though and I think this will be a great thing for him!

So, on to the preview:

Just a little glimpse, but it is one of my favorite things in the kit. New newspaper flowers from Junkitz (Teresa Collins). Funny thing is - this is about as feminine as the kit gets with it's blacks and reds (and a few arrows thrown in)!

Also have to add this picture - I saw my little nephew again this weekend (oh, and my mom, sister and brother but who cares about them)! He is getting way too big too fast! Has that red hair just like I did at this age - and a fresh scratch on the forehead. . .

YES!!!!!
I saw those flowers in the Junkitz catalog after a CHA review at my local scrapbook store. Coveted them immediately.

I understand the running around thing. Still trying to get the girls into the rights things (like soccer and dance that don't interfere with each other) ICK.

I am loving those newsprint flowers, Jenni!!! I have to have anything with handwriting or typed print on it! Thanks so much for the peek. :)

I know all about the whole preschool thing too. I made the choice to keep my son in 5 days a wk. all summer for the "day camp" his preschool offers that season. A lot of my friends thought I was crazy and thought he should have a real summer, but for my little guy, it's best to keep him going or else we have serious drama when I have to leave him again. We all make choices and sacrifices, and sometimes they just have to be more extreme for our own children's welfare. Have fun driving! :)

Oooo--I can tell that this will be an exciting kit, for sure! Of course, they all are, though. LOL
I hope that your son loves his new school. Your nephew is adorable!

Wowzers! Newspaper flowers, with black and red for Sept? I love those colors, and can't wait to see the rest of the kit!

Your nephew is adorable, scratch and all! He's really growing fast. Seems like just yesterday when he was born. :-)

I have a cousin who graduated from Friendship Christian. It's a great school, and I would imagine the preschool is just as wonderful!

That is quite a drive for you, though. My family lives a few miles from that school, so I know exactly what a lengthy drive it is, especially when there's any traffic (and that's always, LOL).

Friendship Christian is excellent. Went there my 2,3,4th grade years. My mom drove 144 miles round trip each day to get me there and back. Dedication, huh?
Can't wait for the new kits!

I love those flowers and cannot wait to use them! As always, I'm sure the Sept. kits are going to be awesome.

I really miss running my kids around. My oldest is off in college and my youngest is in 7th grade. As hard as it is to do you really will miss these days. Try to cherish them. I know it is hard sometimes.

Your nephew is adorable. I love his hair color. My daughter has the same color.
