Happy Valentines Day!!
Want to know a secret? I stole my own card. My husband, being the master of surprises that he is, bought my card at Target the other day when we were shopping together (okay, so he did go through a different check-out line. He gets a point for that).
He then left it sitting in my car - where it was still sitting at 3:00 this afternoon.
So I stole it. Signed my name. Put it with his gift.
And you thought that I would actually make him a card with all of that cute heart paper I have laying around?? ha!
Hope you had a great day!

My kit came today.

It is a delightful treat that I am saving until EVERYONE IS IN BED.
I really want to enjoy opening it!

What a cute story about stealing his card he had bought you. Reminds me of the Christmas I wanted a tea kettle. In came in two designs and told my husband I wanted the blue one. A few days later a box about that size appeared under the Christmas tree. Great, except I changed my mind about which color I wanted. Soooo...I carefully unwrapped it and took it back to the store to exchange for the other color. You should have seen his face on Christmas morning! He was so apologetic that he hadn't gotten me the color I wanted. I about died laughing while telling him the story.

Oh, Jenni, that is just too funny! You are sooo evil "stealing" that card. ROFL Knowing how men can be, I have to wonder if he even noticed. LOL

Well, Jenni, it's good to see that even YOU don't have the time to make a handmade card!!!

I'm already enjoying the kit and looking forward to all your new ideas.

BTW - received my kit today - when I was opening it, my son asked - who sent you a gift?,, I explained it was a SB kit and he said.."Are you sure? It looks like it was wrapped with care,,like a gift" He is right - thanks! I'm going to enjoy playing with all the goodies.

That's funny! I meant to make my husband a card all week. I had it pictured in my head and everything. But I never got the time. So I tried to get one at the grocery store. They were all sold except for a few cheesy ones with stupid animal drawings on the front. So my poor Valentine didn't get a Valentine with his present!

Hysterical! I know people find it amusing that I don't always MAKE all my greeting cards...sometimes a very crafty person does what she has to to get it there on time...sometimes she just has to BUY it! Oh, and I kidnapped the mailman on Monday (just kidding!) and am loving my kit. Can't wait to play with it! I especially loved that schizo. alpha set!

i have been working two nights on a layout with my new kit. one thing i did do with the crown is turn it over on the other side and put pink and red rhinestores in the indentations and mount it backwards on a heart. i made a cherry triffle for valentines at my office and took pictures of it. fay
