Just for fun . . .

I have some things to share with you about the website tomorrow, but for today, here is a layout I just finished for the Li'l Davis booth at CHA. Check out the new chipboard and glitter flower!

This also reminded me that I needed some help!! I really need a wide-body scanner. Does anyone have any information they could pass my way? Any good ones out there that are hopefully affordable??? (many of them are over $1000). Help please!

Have a great evening!

love how you take pretty things and put them on a page with your guys...and it works:)
i have a 11.5 by 14 scanner. IS that what you are looking for? I don't know what body wide means.
I have never tried to scan my body:) I paid like 140 for it.

The layout is beautiful. And the colors are so serene.

If you should receive any recommendations on a wide-format scanner, can you share them with us? I'm on the hunt for one too.

I have a Mustek scanner - bought it off Ebay and have no complaints. http://www.mustek.com/ProductDetail.aspx?product=ScanExpress%20A3%20USB

It's the A3 USB. I think it's 11.7x17 or something like that.

Sorry - didn't mean to make my last post anon. Feel free to email me with any questions!

And this question comes from an EBAY junkie!:) Just kidding. I also have a Mustek scanner that I bought off Ebay. I have had it for over 1 year and Love iT!
It is an A3 USB and it cuts off about a 1/4 of one edge. Hope this helps. Good luck.

PS. I also bought one of those silver WELCOME signs off ebay--I just love it--it just makes me smile! Thanks for the info.

Just needed to say how much I love this layout. I'm not normally a blues 'n greens kinda girl, but this is so amazingly calm and serene! I think my BP actually lowered just gazing at it LOL!
re: the scanner...I have a fujitsu in my office (12x18) but it was like $6,500...super fast and super $$. Microtek makes a 12x18 for around $1500. Microtek is OK. When I was at Adobe we were really anti-microtek in making recommendations, but I have their 11x14 at work also and it gets the job done. Not the most reliable, (sometimes it "hesitates" when you ask it to scan) but it does always decide you mean business eventually. The color on it is decent also. Hope this helps!
