November 2008 Kits (better late then never)!

Lots of brand new JBS product in this kit including all of the new paper and coordinating die cut paper, journaling cards and minis as well as new Red General Die Cut Calendar Cards! I think the new Heidi Swapp velvet flowers were made for this kit - you get those too plus several other parts and pieces (including the tiniest mother of pearl butterfly buttons).

This is just a peek at the Add-On kit - lots of yummy vintage stuff AND this amazing Hounds Tooth reproduction millinery flower. I found a company out of NY that has the closest I could find to the real "old" thing - check out the ones in the Project Kit below too. . .

This is a Christmas Bingo Card Folder (mine has a Christmas Past theme - I love using old pictures!). Brand new JBS Christmas Bingo cards plus some vintage goodies and some more great repro millinery flowers for decoration. A great little project to give as a gift!
Sorry for the delay tonight- I spent all day at the Country Home Antiques Fair here in town. I have lots to share - stay tuned this week!
And. . . we will have several mid-month (but more like the 20th) releases. More soon. . .!!!!
Happy Halloween!

New Product Is Here!!!
Introducing 6 New Papers with a coordinating Die Cut Paper, Journaling Cards and Mini Papers. This is an extension to our Red and Black lines (because I just don't think you can ever have too much of a good thing)!

and new calendar cards - 2009 available as 6 x 6 die cut and 3 color choices of the 3 x 3 general die cut version:

and last but not least - new Christmas and Valentine Bingo Cards (available as large individually and as a mini set):

For wholesalers, the product is now up at the site for easy on-line ordering! Orders will begin shipping Friday.

For my retail friends, much of the product will be incorporated in the November Kit (and then individually later in November). Keep checking here for more details!

November is going to be a big month! I plan to have several mid-month releases and other surprises (and I do have plans to offer the Bingo House kit below at least in some form after the event - thanks so much for the sweet comments)!

So many ideas and so little time!! I would really love to add 8 hours to my day sometimes!

More Silver Bella Peeks!!!

This is for the Bingo Card Christmas Houses class. I knew the Christmas Bingo Cards were coming so I had to put off getting the actual pictures posted for the project!! You get enough stuff to make 4 houses but we will likely only get two done in class (we will learn two different binding techniques). Lots of vintage goodies here including that tiny stamp you see for the Omaha Boys Home (can you believe it?!?!? It actually says "Inspiration Hill" for the addy)!

Check out the new Country Living Magazine that just hit newstands - they have a pull out article on the event. I am getting so very excited!

Have you signed up yet - maybe an early Christmas present????

Forgot to mention. . .

In the chaos of the contest I forgot to mention that I have added a new member to our monthly gallery (joining Doris and Rita) - Ranjini Malhotra (pronounced wren-ja-nee phonetically just so you know)! She will begin in November. I have gotten to know Ranjini over the last couple of years and she is an amazing talent! Many of you may know her from Scrapologie. She fits the JBS style to a T and will make a wonderful addition (and of course she knows a thing or two about kits)! Here are a couple of projects she did with our August kit:

Welcome Ranjini - we are so excited you are here!!

Silver Bella

Just a quick post with some more "hints" about my "Tiny Treasures" class at Silver Bella (see all of the details here. The event is almost full!!!)

The idea is that you would have 3 tiny gifts to stuff in stockings or add to packages (and get ideas to mass produce)! In my second class we are making small Christmas Bingo Card houses using my new Christmas Bingo Cards (coming soon- keep checking the blog for new product previews coming mid-month). I am so very excited about this event. It is like nothing I have ever done before and I can't wait to get there. The vendor faire is worth going all by itself!!! (I wonder if someone will man my booth so I can shop) - hmmmmm.

Drumroll please . . .

Okay, so here are the winners of the first every JBS designer search!!
1st place

Michelle McCord

2nd place

Amber Scurlock

3rd place

Leah Farquharson

Congratulations to these ladies and to all who entered!! I was so overwhelmed by the talent I saw. Anyone that knows me well knows that I HATE contests. I really do - especially when it comes to creativity. There is no right or wrong there. It was really a tough thing for me.

Also keep in mind that although these layouts are lovely, the "layouts" are not the winners, the girls are. When I narrowed it down to about 14 I asked to see blogs, and galleries, etc. so that I could really take an overall look at everything. I need to post their blogs here (will soon).

More later, for now I just wanted to put everyone out of their misery!

Congratulations girls!!

One more day. . .
So did I say the 1st? I meant the 2nd!
Seriously, I'm REALLY sorry that I have not posted the winners to the contest. I had to clear some things up with a few people before I made my final decisions (still working on that). I promise to do it tomorrow.
Let's say after 5:00 central time tomorrow you can come by and see! Again, I'm really sorry for the delay but I am trying to be very thorough (I must say I HATE being the decision maker)!!
To make things even more crazy (I must like crazy) our house goes up for sale tomorrow. Anyone want to re-locate to Mt. Juliet? Its lovely here and studio furniture is negotiable!!!! Ha!
